Kung Fu Hong Kong’s actor Jackie Chan was pleased to see his son being released of jail on Friday 13th of February 2015. Jaycee Chan was sentenced on August 14th 2014 to 6 months in prison and a fine of 10,000 NT$ (320 US$) for smoking marijuana (weed and hash) and also consuming other drugs. Kai Ko (柯震東), a Taiwanese actor was among his friends.
The sentence of 10,000 NT$ was very hard to pay for Jackie Chan’s family. Peanuts Daily met Jackie on Friday:
Our family had to do sacrifices for months in order to pay the fee. I personally acted in a few crappy movies to make some extra bucks and you know that I usually only make great movies. Anyway, I am happy to have my little bastard back home.
Jaycee was released just before Valentine’s Day. Because his girlfriend broke up with him just after he got arrested, he spent 14th of February with his friends. We can assert that Saturday night was a good night for him and his friends. Jaycee Chan released and already enjoying is a euphemism. Jaycee posted on his blog a few pictures and comments. Here is a short resume:
Partying like old times with my friends. It’s like those 6 months didn’t change anything. Candies for everyone: green, white, brown… What a night!
We are sure Jackie Chan will be happy that Jaycee enjoyed his weekend this way. Hopefully for Jackie and for us, he won’t need to act in other shitty movies.
